Conergy Asia-Pacific Strengthens Regional Top Management
Singapore, 4 March 2009 – With Marc Lohoff, Conergy Asia-Pacific strengthens its regional management team with yet another internationally-experienced leader.
The Germany-born Marc Lohoff looks back on 15 years of management experience in the Aeronautical and Semiconductor industries. Prior to this engagement, Marc was acting as Vice President and General Manager of Qimonda Manufacturing Singapore Pte. Ltd. where he prepared the construction and start-up of a DRAM (Dynamic Random Access Memory) production facility. Prior to this function, he successfully established manufacturing cooperations and joint ventures in Shanghai, Beijing and Taiwan. Marc holds a Bachelor Degree in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering from the Bundeswehr University in Munich.
In his new position with Conergy as Managing Director, Asia-Pacific and Middle East, Marc succeeds Stefan Mueller and is based in Singapore, managing Conergy subsidiaries in Australia, India, South Korea and Singapore. He reports directly to Philip von Schmeling, Member of the Conergy Management Board in Germany.

Conergy Asia-Pacific was established in September 2006 and is headquartered in Singapore, Southeast Asia. The regional subsidiary is currently building a 2-megawatt solar plant for the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, which is also Saudi Arabia’s first large-scale clean energy facility. This is one of several solar projects which Conergy Asia-Pacific has in its pipeline.
